Astro Responds to “X Factor” Incident, Politics; “If You Only Knew What I Know”

The “X Factor” dream sadly ended for Stacy Francis Thursday, but her unfortunate departure has not been the talk of the entertainment industry.

Instead, the focus is on fellow bottom two member Astro, who made it clear that he did not want to perform a “save me” song for an audience that obviously did not want him there. Both his mentor Antonio “LA” Reid and judge Simon Cowell ripped Astro for his attitude problem.

In a series of cryptic Tweets published shortly after the live show, Astro responds to the incident. He blames politics and issues that are unclear to the fans for his disinterest in putting on the “Disney face.” He also said that he was not speaking to the viewers at home with his rebellious on-stage message.

Interestingly, he also re-Tweeted a comment about the unlikelihood of someone with such a vast following ending up in the bottom two.

His Twitter response was as follows: “Politics!! don’t be fooled by what you don’t know! Thank you AstroNauts for holding me down! … Its funny how people are quick to judge not knowing whats going on behind the scenes. Maybe I should have given my Disney smile instead! … maybe I could have handled it better but I wasn’t talking about viewers. I hear you doe! … I feel yall on that but I wasn’t talking about viewers when I said I don’t wanna perform. If you only knew what I know you’d say otherwise … I’m sorry you feel that way but I will never be silent when I believe I have been done an injustice. Heart on my sleeve!”
