Charlie Sheen Responds To “Two and a Half Men” Premiere

Airing on the same night as his Comedy Central roast, the “Two and a Half Men” season premiere was not going to receive Charlie Sheen’s full attention, no matter how over the feud the actor may be.

Nonetheless, it would be impossible for the Twitter favorite to ignore the show, which replaced Sheen with Ashton Kutcher for its ninth season, and he did offer some brief comments on the premiere.

“Watching my funeral as my party gets rolling,” wrote Sheen, who had a viewing party (from which he even posted a picture) for the “Men” premiere and then the roast.

He added, “Surrounded by friends and watching the premier of Two and a Half Men. Odd… But cool..! So far a lot of laughs!! Nice…”

As had long been spoiled, “Two and a Half Men” killed off the Charlie Harper character. The season opened at his funeral, which featured many of his hookups ripping the character for his sexually-transmitted diseases and bedroom habits. Rose strongly hinted that she pushed Harper, then her husband, in front of a train after catching him with another woman.

It was later confirmed that Harper was in debt with three mortgages on his house, necessitating the sale of his famed beach house. And so enters Ashton Kutcher’s billionaire character Walden Schmidt.
