“Law & Order: Los Angeles” Ratings Prove Disastrous, “Chuck” Stays Down

All of a sudden, things are looking very good for NBC’s “Harry’s Law.” Even though that legal series started to drastically underperform in the adults 18-49 demo by the end of its inaugural season run, it still represents a valuable alternative to current timeslot occupant “Law & Order: Los Angeles.”

The newest “L&O” spin-off posted a mere 1.1 adults 18-49 rating with 4.91 million viewers for its latest episode–the second weekly broadcast since returning from hiatus. Even with the veteran procedural brand behind it, it is hard to image a scenario in which a performance that abysmal can justify a season two renewal for “LOLA.”

NBC lead-in “The Event” continued to mean nothing at 9PM with a 1.1 rating and 3.75 million viewers, while 8PM “Chuck” tied its series low 1.3 rating with only 4.20 million.
