“Family Guy” Rips Kristen Stewart in Disappointing “German Guy” Episode

Always targeting celebrities, “Family Guy” has often found a comfort zone in ripping female celebrities it believes are falsely-labeled attractive. “Twilight” actress Kristen Stewart became the latest victim of the show’s biting tongue, joining a list of female talent that includes Sarah Jessica Parker, Maggie Gyllenhaal and Gina Gershon.

Though Sunday’s “German Guy” episode is receiving some very negative early feedback from critics and fans, its take on the cinema world’s Bella Swan has generated some online buzz. During a scene early in the episode, Chris (Seth Green) mocked the “Twilight” franchise with puppet versions of Robert Pattinson’s Edward Cullen and Taylor Lautner’s Jacob Black, reducing the entire saga down to a case of a vampire and werewolf competing for the affections of an “unattractive girl.”

Cullen: “I’m a vampire, and I’m in love with this unattractive girl.”
Black: “I’m a werewolf, and I am also in love with this unattractive girl.”
Cullen: (sarcastically) “Boy, she sure can act though, can’t she?”
Black: “Nope.”

Chris then declares, “The end.”

Sunday’s episode featured Chris, in need of a hobby to substitute for his frequent masturbation, bonding with an elderly puppet enthusiast. Merv, jealous that his paedophilic crush was spending time with another old man, also realized that Chris’ new friend used to be an SS officer; he is ultimately tasked with saving Chris and his father Peter from the evil ex-Nazi.
