“Human Target” Ratings Top “Chuck,” “Harry’s Law” Stable, “Lie to Me” Down

A special Monday episode of “Human Target” saw improved ratings in the timeslot, allowing the FOX action series to top a weakened “Chuck” on NBC.

“Target” garnered a 2.1 adults 18-49 rating with 7.81 million viewers, enough for a victory over the NBC series (1.7 rating, 5.56 million).

Although that “Human Target” performance was admirable, its reduction from last week’s “House” meant less lead-in support for “Lie to Me,” which dipped to a 2.2 and 7.05 million for its season finale. That was still enough to keep FOX ahead of NBC’s “The Cape,” which fell again, this time to a 1.5 with 5.30 million. Odds of a “Cape” renewal are not looking good at all.

NBC, nonetheless, moved into first at 10PM, thanks to a solid performance from “Harry’s Law” and re-runs on CBS and ABC. “Harry” was steady with a 2.1 and 10.86 million viewers.
