Though Miranda Lambert’s country awards show dominance continued through much of the 44th CMA Awards presentation, when it came time for the big prize–entertainer of the year–to be delivered, she came up short.
The award instead went to co-host Brad Paisley, who beat out Lambert, Lady Antebellum, Keith Urban and Zac Brown Band to claim the coveted prize.
Lambert, however, still came up big in the under-portion of the show. In addition to claiming Female Vocalist of the Year, she also won the coveted Album of the Year for her “Revolution.” “The House That Built Me,” a single from “Revolution,” won song of the year and music video of the year.
