Arcade Fire’s “The Suburbs” Album Sales to Top Lady Gaga, Bun B, Buckcherry

One week after turning over its album sales throne to Avenged Sevenfold’s “Nightmare,” Eminem’s “Recovery” will deal with another newcomer atop the charts this week.

Based on first day sales, Hits Daily Double is tracking Arcade Fire’s “The Suburbs” for 125-150,000 opening week sales, which could put it in contention for the top spot.

Regardless, the album will definitely outpace the group’s previous effort “Neon Bible,” which opened with just less than 100,000 sales in 2007.

Elsewhere, Lady Gaga’s “The Remix” should be good for 35-40,000, while Bun B’s “Trill OG” should follow within the 30-35,000 range.

Other releases include Buckcherry’s “All Night Long” (25-30,000), The Black Crowes’ “Crowology” (25-30,000) and Secondhand Serenade’s “Hear Me Now” (8-12,000). All figures are opening week sales projections based on Hits Daily Double’s one day sales data.
