NBC Recasts “Outsourced” Role, CBS Clarifies “Hawaii 5-0”

NBC has recast the role of Tonya on new fall comedy “Outsourced,” THR confirmed this week.

Stepping into the role previously occupied by Jessica Gower is Pippa Black. Black, an Australian actress, had a lengthy role on the series “Neighbours.”

“Outsourced,” which occupies the post-“The Office” timeslot this fall, stars Ben Rappaport as an American executive enlisted the Indian call center for a US-based novelty products company.

— In a statement dubbed the “shortest press release in CBS history,” the Eye, as an effort to hype its new Monday drama series, reminded reporters that “Hawaii 5-0” is spelled with a zero rather than an O.
