“Pretty Little Liars” Ratings Improve, “Memphis Beat” Starts Strong

Last week, “Pretty Little Liars” achieved an unlikely feat in retaining virtually all of its series premiere audience for episode two. This week’s episode, the third in the show’s history, accomplished something even bigger–it increased its viewership.

The ABC Family breakout jumped to 2.7 million viewers and scored highs in adults 18-49 (1.0 rating, 1.3 million viewers), adults 18-34 (956,000 viewers), viewers 12-34 (1.8 million), women 18-49 (1.1 million), women 18-34 (769,000) and females 12-34 (1.6 million).

Elsewhere, TNT’s new series “Memphis Beat” got off to a strong start, opening to the tune of 4.3 million viewers with 1.412 million adults 18-49 (1.1 rating), and 1.754 million viewers 25-54. Returning series “HawthoRNe” was good for 3.4 million viewers with 1.409 million adults 18-49 (1.1 rating) and 1.525 million viewers 25-54.
