“Hard Times” Continue For “RJ Berger” Ratings; “Warren the Ape” Worse

Ratings for “The Hard Times of RJ Berger” are as bleak as the titular character’s social life, but unlike the MTV character, there is no prospect of an upside lingering on the horizon.

The show saw another dramatic dip for its third episode Monday; viewership fell from just under 1.172 million viewers to 0.834 million viewers, according to a report on Mediaweek.

Among adults 18-49, the show also suffered a sizable drop, slipping from a 0.5 rating to a 0.3, the same number it scored with women 18-34.

While the disappointment with last week’s numbers was, to a degree, based on its massive decline from the post-MTV Movie Awards premiere, the show has now simply entered into poor ratings territory–context is no longer needed to amplify the frustration.

— MTV’s “Warren the Ape,” meanwhile, barely registered with a 0.2 adults 18-49 rating and a 0.1 in women 18-34. Its viewership was merely 410,000.
