Two “The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn” Movies Officially Confirmed

Summit Entertainment formally announced Thursday that “Breaking Dawn,” as expected, will be adapted into two “Twilight Saga” films. Both will be helmed by Bill Condon.

With the principal cast members returning, “The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn” will begin with a part one release on November 18, 2011. No definitive date was announced for the second film, but it is slated for a 2012 release.

“Eclipse,” the next film in the “Twilight Saga,” bows later this month.
