By now, television fans have had the chance to familiarize themselves with NBC’s fall pilot pickups “Love Bites” and “Outsourced.” The former is a female-skewing anthology series (obviously going after the “Sex and the City,” “He’s Just Not That into You” crowds), while the latter is a half-hour comedy centered around the culture clash of an American executive running a call center in India.
Both have high profiles at the network; “Love Bites” stars “Ugly Betty”‘s Becki Newton, who was the most in-demand female comedy talent this season, while “Outsourced” benefits from the coveted post-“The Office” lead-in.
