The early verdict on CBS’ Saturday airing of “Strikeforce: Nashville” is not a good one.
While the final broadcast number should jump due to the lengthy overrun inclusion, the show was an absolute bomb in primetime, averaging a mere 1.0 adults 18-49 rating and 2.63 million viewers from 9PM-11PM.
By comparison, November 2009’s “Fedor vs. Rogers” card averaged a 1.7 with 3.79 million viewers for the same time period. In both cases, the main events were largely out of preliminary calculations, indicating that there was greater across-the-board interest in the last show.
On a half-hour basis, the show Saturday performed as follows: 9PM – 0.8, 2.57 million, 9:30PM – 1.0, 2.55 million, 10PM – 1.2, 2.89 million, 10:30PM – 1.0, 2.52 million.
Final numbers, which will include the data past 11PM, should be released later Sunday or early Monday.
