Miranda Lambert Tops Underwood, Paisley For ACM Album of the Year

One-time “Nashville Star” contestant Miranda Lambert has developed into one of the most successful and respected acts in mainstream country music, and her evolution paid off with a big ACM Awards win Sunday night.

Lambert’s “Revolution” picked up the win in a star-studded nomination pack that included Brad Paisley’s “American Saturday Night,” Lady Antebellum’s “Lady Antebellum,” Carrie Underwood’s “Play On” and Zac Brown Band’s “The Foundation.”

Of the remaining high-profile awards, Lambert is still in the running for one, competing with Underwood, Taylor Swift, Reba McEntire and Lee Ann Womack for Top Female Vocalist.
