“Vampire Diaries” Tops “Flash Forward” In Ratings Thursday

Things continue to look worse for “Flash Forward,” which dipped to a paltry 1.4 rating Thursday and made the odds of a renewal grow longer. Viewership was just 4.99 million.

The ABC serialized drama’s adults 18-49 rating was beneath even that of The CW’s “The Vampire Diaries” (1.5 off 2.99 million viewers); while “Diaries” is considered a hit for its network, its numbers are not expected to compete with big four series. “Supernatural” followed with a 1.2 and 2.44 million viewers.

Elsewhere, CBS’ “Survivor” won the 8PM hour with a 3.7 and 12.13 million viewers. It led into declining “CSI” (3.1, 13.05 million).

FOX’s lineup included “Bones” (2.8, 9.74 million) and “Fringe” (2.5, 6.68 million), while NBC aired “Office” re-runs and a “Saturday Night Live in the 2000s” special (2.9, 6.71 million).
