“FlashForward” Returns To Poor Ratings, “Office” Loses to NCAA

Even with ABC, FOX and The CW in repeats, the return of ABC’s “FlashForward” was unable to make a ratings mark Thursday.

From 8PM-10PM, the show averaged a mere 1.9 adults 18-49 rating with 6.55 million viewers. That put it in third for both hours, losing to CBS’ NCAA Men’s Basketball Tournament and NBC’s comedy lineup. ABC’s evening ended with a poorly-viewed re-run of “Private Practice.”

CBS’ basketball coverage averaged 10.33 million viewers with a 3.7 in primetime.

NBC’s four sitcoms were roughly in their usual territory Thursday, with “Community” (5.21 million viewers, 2.1 demo) and “Parks and Recreation” (4.70 milllion, 2.0) kicking the night off at 8PM. “The Office” followed with 7.63 million and a 3.6 rating; “30 Rock” aired to a solid 3.0 with 6.86 million.

“The Marriage Ref” closed NBC’s evening with 7.39 million viewers and a 2.8.
