Big “Glee” Spoilers Emerge Following Golden Globe Victory

After topping fellow newcomer “Modern Family” and veterans like “The Office,” “Entourage” and “30 Rock” to win the Golden Globe for Best Comedy Series, “Glee” continues its run as the most buzzed-about show on television.

But with no new episodes until April, the buzz cannot be about what is happening; rather, all the “Glee” related news is looking forward to the remainder of the show’s breakout first season.

Speaking to Entertainment Weekly’s Michael Ausiello, “Glee” creator Ryan Murphy revealed some spoilers for future developments.

— Based on positive reaction to the Rachel-Puck relationship, the two will pair up again during an upcoming episode. The rehashed pairing will reportedly group the duo together for two musical numbers.

— The Madonna-themed “Glee” episode will have “like 10 numbers in it, and the production value is very big.” The word going around is that supporting standout Jane Lynch will sing “Vogue” in the episode.

— Among the cast members being added for season two are a boyfriend for Kurt (“We’re not going to do the whole hiding in the shadows thing. We’re going to make them popular, and out and proud and glamorous”) and an “Eve Harrington”-like character to serve as a rival for Rachel.

— Olivia Newton-John has been booked for a future episode. Jennifer Lopez reportedly wants to appear on the show, while the producers would love to make a push for a Bruce Springsteen appearance.
