When you deliver one of the most buzzworthy and unique shows on television, you make yourself attractive to potential guest appearances.
And, if a scoop from Entertainment Weekly proves true, Golden Globe winner “Glee” has locked up one of television’s most well-liked actors.
The word going around is that “How I Met Your Mother” star Neil Patrick Harris is in talks to guest on the May Sweeps episode of “Glee” being directed by cult favorite Joss Whedon.
Whedon and NPH worked together on the online musical show “Dr. Horrible’s Sing-Along Blog” and would thus make for an anticipated collaboration; the role being discussed for NPH would require the song-and-dance talents for which he is becoming increasingly well known.
At press time, the only potential hold-up is the fact that CBS, which airs “How I Met,” would have to approve the actor’s guest stint on the FOX series.
