Strong “NCIS,” “Good Wife” Ratings; “Dancing With the Stars” Falls

CBS’ Tuesday ratings dominance continued as “NCIS,” NCIS: Los Angeles” and “The Good Wife” were all strong.

With a series-high 20.6 million viewers and a 4.6 18-49 rating, “NCIS” held up well from last week’s big premiere number. “NCIS: LA” dropped only slightly with 17.4 million and a 4.1, while “The Good Wife” was steady at 10PM (13.4 million, 3.1).

Meanwhile, ABC’s “Dancing with the Stars” phenomenon continues to lose its luster. Following “Shark Tank” (5.3 million, 1.5), “Dancing” grabbed only 12.5 million viewers and a mere 2.6 adults 18-49 number; in the demographic, it barely beat FOX’s “So You Think You Can Dance” (5.3 million, 2.4) head-to-head. “The Forgotten” closed ABC’s night with 7.5 million viewers and a 2.0, losing to NBC’s “The Jay Leno Show” (6.6 million, 2.3) in the demo.

Also on FOX: “Hell’s Kitchen” (6.5 million, 3.1)

Also on NBC: “The Biggest Loser” (9.1 million, 3.6)

The CW’s numbers, due to baseball pre-emptions, are not yet precise, but preliminary ratings show “90210” (2.5 million, 1.2) improving and “Melrose Place” holding steady (1.5 million, 0.8).
