— Though “True Blood” remained steady in the ratings this week (3.85 million viewers versus last week’s 3.9), its lead-outs “Hung” and “Entourage” did not hold up quite as well.
“Hung” dipped 23% to 2.8 million viewers (with a 1.5/4 in adults 18-49); last week’s airing bowed for 3.6 million viewers.
Meanwhile, after posting impressive ratings for its season six debut (the best debut rating in series history), “Entourage” suffered a solid decline this Sunday. The second season six episode garnered viewership of 2.69 million (with a 1.6/5 in the 18-49 demographic), a 21% decrease in total viewers from the big premiere. The number is nonetheless impressive for a premium cable series and well above what the show was doing in its fifth season.
— EW reports that Jamie Lynn-Siegler has been cast as Natalie, Daniel’s new assistant, on “Ugly Betty.” She debuts early into the third season.
— EW also discusses rumors that Joely Richardson is finalizing talks to star as Catherine Parr on the fourth and final season of Showtime’s “The Tudors.”
