A spokesperson for actress Mischa Barton confirmed that she still plans to report to work on the “The Beautiful Life” set.
Barton was transferred for medical treatment by police last week for an undisclosed reason. Pessimistic speculation about her status on The CW’s new model drama, including an Entertainment Weekly report that the producers were looking to cast a replacement character as a contingency, ensued.
Nonetheless, as of press time, Barton’s official stance is that she will report for production when it begins later this month.
Spokesman Craig Schneider also said that Barton is “still seeking treatment but making improvements.”
