WWE RAW Scores Huge Rating But Falls To “Jon & Kate”

Who would have figured a 4.5 WWE RAW rating would be anything but a victory?

While Monday’s commercial-free edition of RAW posted a strong 4.5–a big improvement over recent weeks’ numbers–the show did not win the Monday night ratings race. Though a final household rating for “Jon & Kate Plus 8” was not available at press time, the show did an estimated 10.6 million viewers for the special divorce announcement, which will top RAW’s viewership by several million.

Nonetheless, with last week’s heavily-hyped three-hour RAW not even reaching a 4.5 rating for its final hour, this has to be considered a success for both the Trump storyline and the commercial-free experiment.
