Big News On “Curb Your Enthusiasm”‘s “Seinfeld” Reunion

A Showbiz 411 update sheds new light on the anticipated “Seinfeld” reunion, set for this season’s “Curb Your Enthusiasm.”

The report says that the four “Seinfeld” primaries–Jerry Seinfeld, Julia Louis-Dreyfus, Jason Alexander and Michael Richards–join the show, and “Seinfeld” co-creator Larry David, at about midseason. While lips are sealed on the specific storyline, most believe the plot involves the gang planning some sort of televised “Seinfeld” revival or reunion, only for it to fall apart in the season’s conclusion.

Much fuss will obviously be made over the television return of Michael “Kramer” Richards, who made headlines and effectively ended his career after embarking on a racially-motivated tirade during a stand-up show in 2006. On the subject of Richards, Larry David told 411, “[Michael Richards] is like a new man. He really went through something [with that incident]. He used to be very angry and bitter. He’s completely different now. You can see it, and he can feel it. I’m very happy for him.”

The seventh season of “Curb” begins later this year.
