“Hannah Montana” Will “See You Again”

Ending months of rumors that teen star Miley Cyrus was ready to move on, the Disney Channel confirmed Monday that “Hannah Montana” will return for a fourth season.

Network president Gary Marsh said, “’Hannah Montana’ has become one of the most iconic series in television history. That is a direct result of the extraordinary collaboration between the show’s producers, writers and cast – all of whom constantly challenge each other to raise the bar, comedically, musically and from a storytelling perspective. In keeping with that approach, Miley and the producers have proposed a change of setting for Season Four that will provide the catalyst for wonderful new characters and further expand the storytelling opportunities.”

Season four, which begins production early next year, features the Stewart family waving goodbye to their Malibu home.

The network also confirmed that Demi Lovato starrer “Sonny with a Chance” will return for a second season.
