Olivia Dean Grammy Award For Best New Artist After Strong Performance

She was the clear frontrunner to win.

The first of the year’s Big Four Grammy Awards has been distributed, and it went to a major betting favorite.

Olivia Dean, considered a near-lock to win the trophy, indeed walked away with Best New Artist.

An emotional Dean accepted the award just shortly after performing alongside her fellow nominees in a medley. Dean’s rendition of “Man I Need” was one of the medley’s standouts.

Hosted by Trevor Noah, the in-progress 68th Annual Grammy Awards broadcast is airing on CBS and Paramount+.
