Alex Warren’s “Ordinary” Earns Record-Extending 14th Week As Pop Radio’s #1 Song, Secures 16th Week Atop Hot AC

“Ordinary” remains the biggest song at pop and hot adult contemporary radio.

After breaking the all-time Radio & Records and Mediabase mark by securing a 13th week as pop radio’s #1 song, Alex Warren’s “Ordinary” this week extends the record to 14 weeks.

“Ordinary” indeed remains a dominant #1 on the Mediabase pop radio airplay chart.

The song also continues its even more spectacular reign as hot adult contemporary radio’s biggest song, notching a 16th week atop the Mediabase chart for that format.

— “Ordinary” rules the pop chart thanks to the ~16,536 spins it received during the September 14-20 tracking period. The count falls 177 plays shy of last week’s mark but keeps the song well ahead of the competition.

The balance of the Top 5 at pop radio is as follows: Ravyn Lenae’s “Love Me Not” (#2, +1), Justin Bieber’s “DAISIES” (#3, +1), Sabrina Carpenter’s “Manchild” (#4, -2), and sombr’s “undressed” (#5, =).

— The Alex Warren smash meanwhile garnered ~5,705 spins at the Hot AC format this week (+17).

The balance of the Top 5 at Hot AC radio is as follows: Lady Gaga & Bruno Mars’ “Die With A Smile” (#2, =), Sabrina Carpenter’s “Manchild” (#3, =), Ravyn Lenae’s “Love Me Not” (#4, =), and Morgan Wallen’s “What I Want (featuring Tate McRae)” (#5, +1).
