“The Pitt” Named Best Drama Series At Emmys, “The Studio” Wins For Comedy, “Adolescence” For Limited

The 77th Primetime Emmy Awards celebration is in the books.

The 77th Primetime Emmy Awards ceremony has come to an end, and “The Pitt,” “The Studio,” and “Adolescence” took home the night’s most prestigious prizes.

“The Pitt” won for Drama Series, while “The Studio” took home the award for Comedy Series. “Adolescence” received the honor for Outstanding Limited or Anthology Series.

Of the three, “The Studio” and “Adolescence” were considered strong favorites in their categories. “The Pitt” was a contender, though many believed “Severance” would take home top honors.

Each show also received awards in the performance category. “The Pitt” saw star Noah Wyle win for Lead Actor in a Drama Series and Katherine LaNasa win for Supporting Actress in a Drama Series. “The Studio” scored a Lead Actor in a Comedy Series win for Seth Rogen, while “Adolescence” grabbed Lead Actor in an Anthology (Stephen Graham), Supporting Actress in an Anthology (Erin Doherty), and Supporting Actor in an Anthology (Owen Cooper).

The other key performer awards went to Britt Lower (Lead Actress in a Drama Series), Tramell Tillman (Supporting Actor in a Drama Series), Jean Smart (Lead Actress in a Comedy Series), Hannah Einbinder (Supporting Actress in a Comedy Series), Jeff Hiller (Supporting Actor in a Comedy Series), and Cristin Milioti (Lead Actress in an Anthology).
