High-profile new music releases are often frontloaded, peaking with a strong first-day performance and then dropping in the subsequent days.
Rosé & Bruno Mars’ “APT.” did not follow that trend. Proving resonant, the song enjoyed a massive second-day gain on Spotify.
The collaboration soared rose one spot to #2 on the platform’s global chart for Saturday, October 19, courtesy of a daily streaming count of 10,187,478. The count, notably, reflects a 49% gain over the song’s opening day mark.
“APT.” also enjoyed a big gain on the US listing, jumping six places to #5 on the chart. Its 1,471,877 Saturday US stream count tops Friday’s debut mark by 25%.
“APT.” has also been posting massive numbers on YouTube, while attracting ample early interest at radio.
