Chappell Roan’s “Good Luck, Babe!” Takes Lead In Race For #1 At Pop Radio

The artist is on track to secure her first pop radio #1.

Chappell Roan’s radio breakthrough “Good Luck, Babe!” has taken the lead in the race for #1 on this week’s Mediabase pop airplay chart.

“Good Luck, Babe!” received 6,561 spins during the first three days of the September 8-14 tracking period. Up 8% from the same-time-last-week mark, the count slots Chappell Roan’s hit at #1 on the building/real-time chart.

Because the week is still young, and because Sabrina Carpenter’s building #2 “Please Please Please” (6,497 spins, -3%) and Billie Eilish’s “BIRDS OF A FEATHER” (6,379, +6%) are both within striking distance, it is too early to definitively declare “Good Luck, Babe!” this week’s winner.

That said, between its current lead an clear momentum advantage, it is absolutely the favorite to top this week’s chart. Should it do so, it will be Chappell Roan’s first pop radio #1.
