Twenty One Pilots’ “Clancy” Wins US Album Sales Race, Taylor Swift’s “TTPD” Earns 6th Week At #1 Overall

This week’s album race ends in a split-chart scenario.

The latest US album race ends in a split-chart scenario, with Twenty One Pilots ruling for pure album sales and Taylor Swift leading the way for total activity.

According to Hits Daily Double, Twenty One Pilots’ “Clancy” sold 110K US copies during the May 24-30 tracking period. With units from track sales and streams included, the album generated 139K in total US activity.

The sales figure ranks as the week’s best, while the unit figure places “Clancy” at #3 behind Swift’s “The Tortured Poets Department” (#1 for a 6th week with 177K units in the tracking period) and Billie Eilish’s “Hit Me Hard And Soft” (#2 with 149K units).

Billboard’s specific numbers may differ from those reported by Hits, but the overall outcome — “Clancy” at #1 for sales and “Tortured Poets” at #1 for total units — should be the same.
