Early projections have arrived for Dua Lipa’s latest album “Radical Optimism.”
According to Hits Daily Double, the album is expected to generate 55-65K in US consumption during the May 3-9 tracking period. Consumption accounts for units from traditional album sales, track sales, and track streams.
The projection suggests “Radical Optimism” will debut similarly to predecessor “Future Nostalgia.” Released in 2020, that album posted a debut consumption figure of 66K US units.
The total will likely position “Radical Optimism” as the week’s top new entry, although it will not challenge Taylor Swift’s reigning champion “The Tortured Poets Department” for the overall #1 position on the Billboard 200.
