Grammy Awards: Olivia Rodrigo Unsurprisingly Wins For Best New Artist

The artist has officially earned a “Big Four” trophy.

Final Grammy Awards odds listed Olivia Rodrigo as a favorite in each of the “Big Four” categories, but her prospects were considered particularly bright in the Best New Artist race.

The odds were correct; Rodrigo took home the trophy in celebration of an amazing year of critical and commercial success.

Rodrigo did not win Song Of The Year as oddsmakers predicted, but she is still in contention for Album and Record of the Year. Those trophies will be revealed later in the broadcast.

Outside the “Big Four,” Rodrigo won Best Pop Solo Performance at Sunday’s Premiere Ceremony. She is also in contention for Best Pop Vocal Album.
