Billboard Hot 100: BTS’ “Butter” Secures 5th Week As #1 Song In America

“Butter” keeps its place atop the Billboard Hot 100 chart.

BTS’ “Butter” adds another week to its reign as the hottest song in America.

Indeed, the hit single enjoys a fifth consecutive week atop the Billboard Hot 100 chart.

Along with solid streaming and radio numbers, “Butter” enjoyed another week of dominance on the sales front. The song, in fact, posted a non-trivial gain in sales this week.

In securing a fifth week on top, “Butter” extends its record as BTS’ longest chart-topper. The group previously spent 3 weeks at #1 with summer 2020 release “Dynamite.”

A definitive look at the hottest songs in America, the Hot 100 chart ranks songs from all genres based on streams, sales, and radio activity. The entire Top 7 of this week’s chart mirrors last week’s listing, with Olivia Rodrigo’s “good 4 u” (#2), Dua Lipa’s “Levitating (featuring DaBaby)” (#3), Doja Cat’s “Kiss Me More (featuring SZA)” (#4), Justin Bieber’s “Peaches (featuring Daniel Caesar & GIVEON)” (#5), Silk Sonic’s “Leave The Door Open” (#6), and The Weeknd & Ariana Grande’s “Save Your Tears” (#7) all holding in place.
