“ELITE” Enters Top 5 On US Netflix Chart Following Release Of Season 4

“Elite” has officially entered the Top 5 on US Netflix.

Since the fourth season launched this past Friday, Netflix’s “ELITE” has been resonating with Netflix viewers around the world.

The Spanish drama’s resonance extends to the United States, where it presently holds a Top 5 ranking.

Indeed, “ELITE” is #5 on Tuesday’s edition of the US Netflix chart (which based on the prior day’s viewership).

Only “Fatherhood” (#1), “Manifest” (#2), “Wish Dragon” (#3), and “Sweet Tooth” (#4) rank higher on the listing. Of the four, only “Manifest” and “Sweet Tooth” are fellow series.

Featuring the show’s typical mix of mystery, sexuality, and soapy drama, the fourth season of “ELITE” introduces several new cast members: siblings and new Las Encinas students Ari (Carla Diaz), Mencia (Martina Cariddi) and Patrick (Manu Ríos), their father and new school principal Benjamin (Diego Martín), businessman Armando (Andrés Velencoso), and prince and new Las Encinas student Phillipe (Pol Granch).

Previous regular characters Carla (Ester Exposito), Lu (Danna Paola), Valerio (Jorge Lopez), and Polo (Álvaro Rico)** do not appear; Nadia (Mina El Hammani) appears in a limited capacity.

**SPOILER WARNING: All have storyline reasons for their absence, but Polo’s is most obvious – he was the murder victim in season three.
