Doja Cat’s “Need To Know” Earns #1 On US YouTube Music Videos Chart, #11 On Global Chart

Doja Cat’s music (and videos) continue to make an impact.

It may not be a proper “single,” but Doja Cat’s new “Need To Know” made an impressive opening week impact.

It found particular success on YouTube, charting prominently on the platform’s US and Global Music Videos Charts.

“Need To Know” earns #1 on the US chart thanks to the 5.16 million American views it received during the June 11-17 tracking period. The figure gives “Need To Know” a very narrow victory over Megan Thee Stallion’s “Thot Shit,” which rounds to the same 5.16 million views**.

“Need To Know” concurrently starts at #11 on the Global chart, courtesy of its 18.1 million tracking period video views.

Thanks to the new video and enduring interest in her discography, Doja Cat rises to #14 on the US YouTube Artists Chart and #24 on the Global Artists listing.

**Editor’s Note: Based on “Need To Know” being listed at #1 and “Thot Shit,” we are assuming that the Doja Cat video would prevail if the numbers are unrounded. If it turns out that YouTube recognizes this race a true tie OR that “Thot Shit” actually received more views but YouTube’s platform ranks alphabetically based on rounded figures, we will provide an update.
