Tom MacDonald’s “Snowflakes” Earns #2 On US YouTube Music Videos Chart

The buzzy song, which ruled iTunes for much of the week, also fared well on YouTube.

In addition to spending the majority of the June 4-10 tracking period atop the US iTunes song sales chart, Tom MacDonald’s “Snowflakes” attracted ample attention on YouTube.

The song’s official music video received 4.34 million American views within the walls of the tracking period. The impressive count slots “Snowflakes” at #2 on the US YouTube Music Videos Chart; only Bad Bunny’s “Yonaguni” received more (7.71 million).

“Snowflakes” additionally debuts at #16 on the US YouTube Songs Chart, which takes into account views from all eligible uploads. “Snowflakes” amassed 4.45 million such views in the US, which means the video contributed the overwhelming majority of activity.

Thanks to buzz over the song — and a trip into his prior discography — MacDonald re-enters the US YouTube Artists Chart at #42.
