Morgan Wallen’s “Dangerous” Spends 3rd Week As Dominant #1 On US Album Chart

The double album continues to post impressive numbers.

Morgan Wallen’s “Dangerous: The Double Album” extends its reign as the #1 album in America.

According to Hits Daily Double, the hit release sold over 12K US copies during the January 22-28 tracking period. With units from track sales and streams included, the album generated just under 132K in tracking period activity.

The unit figure convincingly ranks as the week’s best, topping that of the #2 album (Pop Smoke’s “Shoot For The Stars Aim For The Moon”) by roughly 3x. Per Hits, “Dangerous: The Double Album” also narrowly leads the way on the sales front.

The publication adds that “Dangerous” becomes the first country album since Taylor Swift’s “Red” to spend its initial three weeks at #1.

Due Sunday, Billboard’s data may differ slightly from that reported by Hits. Any such discrepancy will obviously not, however, change the fact that “Dangerous: The Double Album” is #1 overall for a third week.
