Ariana Grande’s “34+35” Headed For Top 5 At Pop Radio

“34+35” continues to fly up the pop radio chart.

Ariana Grande’s “34+35” is poised to make another gain on this week’s Mediabase pop radio airplay chart.

The hit single received 6,316 spins during the first three days of the January 24-30 tracking period. Up 16% from the count at this point last week, the tally slots “34+35” at #5 on Mediabase’s building/real-time chart.

Given its impressive rate of gain, “34+35” should be able to retain its Top 5 position through the close of tracking. Its only potential threat is Chris Brown & Young Thug’s #6 “Go Crazy,” but that song presently trails by over 300 spins and is gaining at a slower rate (5% vs. 16% for “34+35”).

If it does, Grande will have two songs in the Top 5. Though it is beginning to lose airplay, her “positions” is still #1 on the building chart. It has a chance of holding at #1 for a 7th consecutive week, and it will definitely not exit the Top 5 before the tracking period concludes.
