Chris Brown, Lizzo, Roddy Ricch, DaBaby, Megan Thee Stallion, Migos Named Top Artists At BET Awards; Full Winners List Revealed

Meet the winners of the 2020 BET Awards ceremony.

Airing remotely, in support of the Black Lives Matter movement, and in conjunction with the 40th anniversary of BET, Sunday’s 2020 BET Awards ceremony was far from a typical awards show.

It did, nonetheless, include the two fundamental elements of a music awards ceremony: stellar performances and trophy reveals.

The performer list included names like Nas, Kane Brown, Megan Thee Stallion, Chloe X Halle, Summer Walker, DaBaby, Roddy Ricch, Alicia Keys, Usher, and more.

The six major artist awards, meanwhile, went to Chris Brown (Male R&B/Pop), Lizzo (Female R&B/Pop), Migos (Group), DaBaby (Male Hip-Hop), Megan Thee Stallion (Female Hip-Hop), Roddy Ricch (New Artist). Burna Boy and Sha Sha also won artist trophies, in their case for International Act and New International Act, respectively.

Other notable winners included LeBron James, Issa Rae, Michael B. Jordan, Kirk Franklin, and more. The complete winners list follows (courtesy of BET):
