Ratings: HBO’s “Watchmen” Enjoys Viewership Gain For Episode 7

“Watchmen” posted a week-over-week increase in viewership.

HBO’s “Watchmen” rebounded from last week’s live+same-day ratings loss with gains in adults 18-49 and overall viewership.

According to L+SD data posted by Showbuzz, Sunday’s “Watchmen” drew a 0.25 adults 18-49 rating and averaged 0.78 million viewers. The numbers top the 0.21 rating and 0.62 million viewership mark posted by last week’s episode.

The viewership figure, moreover, ranks as the show’s best since the October 20 premiere.

The TV viewership gain is surely welcome, but it is worth noting that “Watchmen” receives the majority of its viewership from delayed or digital viewing. Last week, an HBO representative told Headline Planet that the series has been averaging nearly 7 million total viewers per episode.

Two episodes remain in the show’s inaugural season.
