Jason Aldean’s “9” Wins US Sales Race, But Trippie Redd Earns #1 On Overall Chart

“A Love Letter To You 4” tops this week’s overall consumption chart.

We have a split-chart scenario in this week’s album sales race. Jason Aldean’s “9” rules for sales, while Trippie Redd’s “A Love Letter To You 4” takes #1 for overall consumption.

According to Hits Daily Double, “9” sold 73K US copies during the most recent tracking period. That comfortably ranks as the week’s best sales total.

With units from track sales and streams included, the album generated about 85K in first-week consumption. It takes #2 on the overall consumption chart, below the aforementioned “A Love Letter To You 4.”

Said Trippie Redd album amassed 103K first-week units in the US; streaming contributed the lion’s share of activity.

Due Sunday, Billboard’s data may differ slightly from that reported by Hits. The publication should, however, report the same overall outcome as Hits — “9” at #1 for sales and “Love Letter” at #1 for overall consumption.
