Ratings: HBO’s “Watchmen” Rises In Viewers, Sets Demo High For Looking Glass Episode

The fifth episode of “Watchmen” enjoyed a ratings gain.

Sunday’s Wade “Looking Glass” Tillman-centric edition of HBO’s “Watchmen” posted week-over-week gains in adults 18-49 and overall viewership. The demo rating represents a new series high.

According to live+same-day data posted by Showbuzz, Sunday’s episode drew a 0.26 adults 18-49 rating and averaged 0.75 million overall viewers. The numbers top the 0.20 rating and 0.71 million viewer mark garnered last week.

The demo rating, moreover, bests the 0.25 rating set by the first and second episodes to rank as a new series high. In terms of total viewership, this week’s episode was the third-most-watched of the five that aired.

Like most HBO series (and, really, most modern TV series), the live+same-day rating reflects a small portion of the show’s overall popularity. This week’s episode is sure to receive a big lift with viewership from streaming, on-demand and DVR included.
