The recording immediately began soaring up the US iTunes sales chart. By late Tuesday, it had entered the chart’s Top 5.
As of press time at 11:55PM, the song is #5 on the all-genre chart. It, moreover, ranks as the #3 country song after Craig Morgan’s “The Father, My Son, And The Holy Ghost” and Dan + Shay’s “10,000 Hours.”
“The Other Side” is a tribute to Alaina’s stepfather Sam Ramker, who died last year.
