Making good on the late-week projection, Shawn Mendes & Camila Cabello’s “Señorita” rises to #1 on this week’s Mediabase hot adult contemporary radio chart.
The song, which was #2 last week, seizes the throne from Lewis Capaldi’s “Someone You Loved.” Having previously ruled the pop chart, “Señorita” is now a two-format #1.
“Señorita” received ~6,712 spins during the September 29-October 5 tracking period, besting last week’s mark by 141.
“Someone You Loved” falls to #2 with ~6,571 spins (-88).
Ed Sheeran & Justin Bieber’s “I Don’t Care” holds at #3, while Taylor Swift’s “You Need To Calm Down” ascends one spot to #4. Jonas Brothers’ “Sucker” concurrently falls one position to #5.
