Because J-Hope’s “Chicken Noodle Soup (featuring Becky G)” did not launch until after the September 20-26 tracking period, it does not appear on this week’s key Billboard song charts.
Interest in the song does, however, result in a big Billboard Social 50 gain for Becky G.
The artist re-enters this week’s chart at a new peak of #10.
Although formal confirmation of the song did not arrive until Thursday, Becky G and J-Hope’s group BTS began teasing a big surprise earlier in the week. The tease attracted considerable interest from both artists’ fanbases, which yielded this week’s big Social 50 splash for Becky G.
BTS, meanwhile, celebrates a 146th week at #1 on the chart.
