BTS member J-Hope just released a new single, and it is off to a hot start on the US iTunes sales chart.
“Chicken Noodle Soup (featuring Becky G)” is actually #1 on the listing as of press time at 10:30AM ET Friday morning. It is currently outselling Lizzo’s “Juice,” the #2 song, by a factor of 2.
The rapid ascent to #1 should come as no surprise. In addition to the popularity of both artists, “Chicken Noodle Soup” benefits from months of anticipation for a BTS track involving Becky G.
In addition to launching the audio on digital platforms, J-Hope and Becky G shared the official music video Friday morning. It already boasts over 5 million views.
