This past December, news broke that Netflix’s “Baby” would return for a second season. Tuesday, the streaming giant announced the official season two premiere date.
The Italian drama will return with new episodes on Friday, October 18.
In addition to confirming the premiere date, the show and its cast members shared new teaser material across social media.
Drawing inspiration from the real-life “Baby Squillo” case, the show follows the “unseen lives of Roman high schoolers.”
The first season, specifically, chronicled disillusioned in-crowd member Chiara (Benedetta Porcaroli) and rebellious outcast Ludo (Alice Pagani) becoming friends — and foraying into escorting. That storyline is, of course, just one facet of a larger coming-of-age teen drama rich with romance, betrayal and even violence.
