TOOL’s “Fear Inoculum” Reaches #1 On US iTunes Sales Chart; New Lana Del Rey #2 (Update)

The week’s highest-profile new releases are climbing the iTunes chart.

Update 2: As of 11:15AM ET Friday, the week’s two highest-profile releases occupy the Top 2 slots on the US iTunes album sales chart.

TOOL’s “Fear Inoculum” is #1 on the all-genre listing, while Lana Del Rey’s “Norman F*****g Rockwell!” is #2.

Update: By 12:45AM ET Friday, TOOL’s “Fear Inoculum” had reached #2 on the US iTunes sales chart.

Prior to 1:30AM ET, it completed its ascent to #1. The album indeed dethroned Taylor Swift’s “Lover” on the all-genre listing, and it remains in the pinnacle position as of press time.

“Lover” is now #2 on the chart, while Lana Del Rey’s new “Norman F*****g Rockwell!” is #3.

Shortly after launching on US iTunes, the new TOOL and Lana Del Rey albums blasted into the upper reaches of the store’s all-genre sales chart.

As of press time at 12:45AM ET Friday morning, TOOL’s “Fear Inoculum” is #2 on the listing. Only Taylor Swift’s “Lover” is currently selling at a faster pace.

Lana’s “Norman F*****g Rockwell!” is up to #5 on the listing.

Lizzo’s “Cuz I Love You” (#3) and Luke Combs’ “This One’s For You Too” (#4) form the balance of the Top 5.
