Taylor Swift’s “Lover” Received Opening Day Pop Radio Airplay In Macon, Nashville, More

“Lover” scored airplay from a handful of pop radio stations.

Although it has not been identified as an official single, Taylor Swift’s “Lover” received some opening day attention at pop radio.

According to Mediabase, B95.1 had played the song a whopping 18 times by the end of Friday.

Other notable opening day supporters included Nashville’s 107.5 The River (5 spins), Buffalo’s Kiss 98.5 (4 spins), and Knoxville’s Star 102.1 (4 spins). Several other stations played the song once or twice Friday.

“Lover” is the fourth pre-release track from Swift’s forthcoming album of the same name. The full album arrives this coming Friday, August 23.
