Tyler Childers’ “Country Squire” Rises To #1 On US iTunes Sales Chart; Skillet #2 (Update)

New albums are making their way up the US iTunes sales chart.

Update: Shortly after its release late Thursday night, Skillet’s “Victorious” rose to #1 on the US iTunes sales chart.

As Friday progressed, another new release seized the throne.

Tyler Childers’ “Country Squire” rules the chart as of press time at 3AM ET Friday morning. “Victorious” is #2, ahead of Volbeat’s new “Rewind, Replay, Rebound” (#3), the new “Descendants 3” soundtrack (#4), and Drake’s new “Care Package” (#5).

Several new music releases officially entered the market late Thursday night.

As of press time at 1:20AM ET, one of those newcomers occupies the #1 spot on the all-genre US iTunes sales chart.

Skillet’s new “Victorious” is currently ruling the listing.

Tyler Childers’ new “Country Squire” directly follows at #2, while Volbeat’s new “Rewind, Replay, Rebound” sits at #3. NF’s recently released “The Search” (#4) and the new “Descendants 3” soundtrack (#5) complete the Top 5.

Other albums in the Top 10 include Lizzo’s “Cuz I Love You” (#6), Tool’s classic “Ænima” (#7), Chance The Rapper’s “The Big Day” (#8), Ed Sheeran’s “No. 6 Collaborations Project” (#9), and Drake’s new “Care Package” (#10).
